Back-blip

Bit of a miserable day but luckily we made the most of it. 

Went up to Houghton Hall for a look around the craft shop. Die cutting seems to have taken over the craft world at the moment and I'm still struggling to see the point of it :-( 

Went on to Lanercost Priory for coffee and cake... had a little wander by the river. We saw a kingfisher for the first time there which more than made up for the rain.

Norm made a veggie curry in the evening. It was delicious.
