Apedale Community Country Park

This country park is on our doorstep and we seem to completely forget about it all the time. 

After lunch we fancied a walk but didn't want to go too far and this fitted the bill. It's only a couple of miles away.

This is a commemorative pit wheel at the highest point of the park. The views of the surrounding countryside are pretty good too.
