Echinops

I nurtured about 15 echinops plug plants through the winter and planted them out in the Spring. Only four have survived and two of them are pretty ropey. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Anyway this is one of the better ones and they are all keeping the bees happy. Struck by how soft they are under magnification when their charm is their perfect, spherical spikiness.
