Kindling

Wood cut last year from pruning the beech hedge in the garden. This gives us kindling for the fire. Apparently, there will also be zero carbon produced when it burns - as the same amount would be released if it were left to decompose. It is a good lesson in basic recycling as there is an awful lot of valuable resource in the back garden. We also have logs from cutting up the Leylandii - as it grows so fast. As the recession bites we may have to become more and more resourceful.
