Greys Court

An impromptu visit to a National Trust Property near Henley on Thames - Greys Court.

It is a wonderful house and grounds and we will visit again in explore in more detail another time.

The main blip is a statue carved in ash wood of Charles Taylor, who was gardener at Greys Court between 1937 and 1955.  There was a poem by Walter de la Mere at the back, but it was not clear and I had nothing to make note of the words I could read.  I love the detail of the head (blip 2).

The other two blips are of the house and a part of the walled garden. It has a wisteria in another part of the garden that is 128 years old.  We need to visit when it is in flower!
