Bigfoot

When I arrived in Japan in 1996, it was a little difficult (but thankfully, not too difficult) to find shoes in my size; 27. Today, Arthur bought two new pairs of shoes, without too much searching required, in a size 29. Now size 32 shoes are sold in many shops. That really brings home how much larger Japanese people are becoming.

Arthur's shoes are photographed with mine for the size comparison.

In other news, Riseisha and Seiryo are through to the final of the Koshien High School Baseball Tournament. The game will be played on Thursday. I am hoping for Riseisha to win but I have a feeling Okugawa will stop them with his pitching.
