This is Derek, one of the volunteers at the cardio-pulmonary gym that I attend. He's proudly wearing the medal he won as a member of Team UK in the 2019 Warrior Games in September.

As well as helping us with our exercises, Derek himself has to deal with Chronic PTSD, DVT and a heart condition.  

Team UK finished the games with 27 medals, 4 games records and 52 personal bests; a great achievement for a team of only 20 athletes
