Through these eyes

Lapwing

We needed to go to Martin Mere today to swap kwchas's binoculars and meet friends for lunch.  There were more birds around than we expected as they must be starting to collect for the Autumn migrations.  Loads of Black-tailed Godwits (which were too far away to photograph) and Lapwings (which were much closer to the hides), hence todays blip.
