it's too darn hot!

Having watched a steady stream of visitors to the birdbath I stepped briefly out from my airconditioned comfort to top it up and glanced at the thermometer on the verandah as I did.

I think this is the hottest day I've experienced down here. The folks up in Adelaide must be sweltering since we are usually a degree or 10 cooler down here.

My thoughts go to the firemen fighting an out of control fire over at Finniss. Bad enough for anyone to be out today let alone combating fires.
