Falls of Cree

Headed to the Otter Pools for the first photo stop today. Decided not to do a walk around Clatterinshaws loch as the weather wasn’t too great and it was too windy for J to get a swim done. Instead headed to the Wood of Cree for a nice woodland walk which ended at the falls of Cree. Very nice waterfall. Kilda had a great time running around in the woods. Next stop was at Hills and Harbour gin distillery for a look around and a very nice lunch. From there we headed to Bladnoch distillery to blag a free sample. 10 year old was nice but not worth £50 a bottle. Next stop was the campsite at Sandyhills where we had booked in for a couple of nights. Not a great campsite and overpriced for the facilities which were rundown, we were also packed in next a few other campers. Went for a walk along the cliff tops to see the tidal fishing net posts on the beach around the corner. Kilda had great fun on the beach once we came down. Bit windy at the campsite but still warm enough to eat outside and stay out talking into the evening
