The Saddle

I walked up Glen Rosa to The Saddle today. On my own. It took me 4.5 hours (there and back).

I've never done anything like this and I only did it because I thought Joe would have liked to do it. I'm sure he'd be proud of me (I shouted on him and held his hand at the beginning. Then I was fine).

The walk was not too hard, rockier on the last third and the views at the top are bloody amazing. Actually breathtaking. I cried like a bloody baby up there of course.

Should have said, this pic shows the glen I didn't walk up; Glen Sannox (basically I'm standing on the 'saddle'). The other side is more lush and the reason I walked up it is for this view when you come over the top.
