Tree

A lovely sunny, summer's day with Wide Wednesday's theme "An interesting tree", so a walk in the woods was called for. I have to admit that I find just about any oak interesting and can lie on the ground and stare at them for ages, but the one in the pic was a particularly splendid, large and spreading specimen. I've had to compress the... ermm... living daylights out of the image as the original jpeg was 44+ Mb!
