Bycicle rims

The artwork is made from all kinds of bicycle rims. An initiative of the local residents to give the roundabout more prestige.
The roundabout with the water basin in the middle where the artwork is on or in is also called the Kweek pond.
I have taken a detail from the artwork because it appealed to me more than the whole.
The project is inspired by the image "Globe Recycle" by Moroccan artist Rachid Assiraj in the Jardin des Arts in Marrakesh, Morocco.
