For Cora Bissett's "What Girls Are Made Of" .

Energising, strongly written and performed by the tight ensemble of musician-actors.

I first came across Cora when she played the lead in the 2002 touring production of "Sunset Song". She was very, very good then and having seen this autobiographical piece, I can see why she had such reserves to draw on for that performance.

Extra - waiting for the 25 at Elm Row, i think i recognised two people opposite: a long-serving member of Thins/Blackwells staff; and a blipper(?). Edinburgh is small, and the Festival isn't just about celebrity spotting.
