Hold The Front Page!

Sumon is doing so literally and, no wonder, as he features on it! La Vanguardia ran a story about the increase in robberies in Barcelona and the greater deployment of anti-disturbance police . . . the men in black in the front page photo. Guess, though, who takes centre stage on the zebra crossing? None other than our very own local waiter from 'Champions’, Sumon! It caused quite a stir among the regulars when it was noticed!

I once asked the former photo editor of a national UK daily how he selected photos for the front page. He said he only asked the photographer one thing, 'Does it make?' I think Sumon made today!
