Huge Crocosmia

A busy day! I spent the morning doing product photography then this afternoon we had a run up to one of the city's garden centres. I couldn't resist a couple of new hanging baskets of pansies for the studio and this rather fantastic crocosmia. It's flower is much bigger than any other crocosmia I have.

I had already resisted buying an "Emily" of another species so I was surprised to see this is Emily MacKenzie.

It was The B-I-L's birthday celebration (in lieu of tomorrow) tonight so we went to a Chinese Restaurant in town. Very nice meal.We went there for Kanyl's birthday 9 years ago when I declared it was our favourite venue for a meal!
