Watching the storm

The very impressive heat of the last day or so broke this evening with a marvellous lightening display at dinner. Before that this lot had ground out 5-4 water polo victory at last, with 2 goals from the Gary lineker style goal hugging Will.

And Hannah and I happened upon the evening entertainment for the first time. Rows and rows of people (adults) in chairs playing games on their phones with people badly singing songs in front of them. We haven’t missed out, we concluded.

And Daisy has safely arrived at Reading Festival. By boat it would seem, just like Hogwarts. Fingers crossed for a happy weekend!
