Kinwarton Dovecote door

This is the entrance door to Kinwarton Dovecote, the interior of which I previously blipped about a month ago.

The door is only 4 feet high and I am not sure why it needs a door knocker.

I like the rich blue colour against the honey coloured stone and render.

The dovecote is owned by the National Trust and is in a field outside Alcester.
