Whoop-de-doo

Had a great two to three hour walk today at the Barons Haugh reserve near Motherwell. It is easily one of the best bird reserves in Scotland, my short jaunt today netted exactly 40 species.
There are up to 40 whooper swans on the water. I watched a large flock of them flying in and landing.
They won't hang around much beyond March before heading back to colder climes so best to blip them now.
