Warming up

I had intended cutting back the nettles and brambles around the fruit trees in the community orchard this morning, but it was too hot, so I had a wander with my camera instead.

Plenty of white butterflies around and just this Painted Lady which wasn't too skittish.

I've just finished reading "The Duchess" by Penny Junor.  It's an unauthorised biography of Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and is an excellent read, which I would thoroughly recommend whether you're a fan or not.
