Scotland - day 1

We drove up to Scotland through the most horrific weather I have ever driven in. There was wind, rain, snow, ice, minimal visibility.

The final drive up to the cottage was fine however and we found it with no trouble. Just next to where we were staying was this commando statue and memorial garden as they did their training near Ben Nevis mountain range.

The cottage is warm and we are grateful. Our lounge window looks directly out to Ben Nevis. With binoculars we could see the odd walker too.
