Off very early this morning and over to Strathaven for the balloon festival. The “Dawn Patrol” was timed for 6.30 ish and most got away cleanly. One failed to take off and another had a Close Encounter of the Treetop Kind but scraped through with just a few scattered leaves.
Chloe made friends with a few local dogs - and their owners and had a great time too although the noise of the gas burners did alarm her a little at first.
Another beautiful day here, very warm and lots of sunshine. I’m off out to catch a few more rays!
