At the Lonach Gathering

An excellent day at the Highland Games in Bellabeg. The male Talpid arrived with his dad and took part in the 4 mile Hill Race along with over 100 runners. We were all delighted when he took first place in his age group.
The extra shows the patron of the Lonach Highland and Friendly Society, Sir James Forbes of Newe, Bart. He was at the head of the Lonach Men entering the arena after a long march through the local glens calling at important houses for a restorative dram.
