New leaves

Very happy to see my orchids sprouting new leaves after haphazard care!

Just a normal day but finished with giving a private lesson to a high school graduate I'd taught last year. She’s got a big exam this weekend so wanted some help. Lovely girl from an Egyptian family so I was made to feel very welcome with lots to eat and drink. I hope she does well; she has big plans.

It was humid when I got off the bus near her house. Summer is coming to an end which means high humidity for a bit of time.. and temps of mid 40’s..
