Laying a Wreath

Ceremonies in the harbour today to commemorate Black Saturday, when 37 men fishing out of Wick, and 90 in total, lost their lives during a great storm.  The scale of the disaster lead to enquiries, and new regulations for the boats.  Where before they had been open, like skiffs, they now had to be  partly decked.
About 40 vessels formed a small flotilla, lead by the Isabella Fortuna.  Prayers and the names of all locally-based men who perished were read, two wreaths were laid, and a piper onboard the Isabella played.
