Good up early to see our friend off. Felix, Rowan and I zoomed to the Assembly Roxy to see Kid_X. After having seen a preview on Friday night I thought I might be worth seeing. We were not disappointed. A crazy mixture of dance and circus with hip-hop tunes performed by Eva Lazarus and excellently animated backdrops tells the classic story of a boy falling in love with a girl when his (bionic) heart is literally owned by a biotech company. Apart from the excellent performances I really loved the animations and the clever use of mobile phone cameras. I think this was easily the best show we saw this year. And I am really looking forward to seeing them again next year.
