Montbretia (crocosmia) - several clumps in the front garden, in full bloom just now.

Made some sense of our little front garden again; it’d got out of hand. Pruned and shredded till 2pm. But, it was too warm to work on, so packed it in, showered and enjoyed the back garden. A lovely afternoon for late August. It was nice being able to eat lunch and dinner outside - although there were a few wasps around..... and my wife doesn’t “do wasps.”
