Air Show

Flying at the Rhyll Air Show got off to a very late start owing to a thick sea mist which swirled about and engulfed the beach giving zero visibility and at times nearly swallowed us up as well, it was pretty chilly too. However, two hours late the sun broke through and the mist rolled away although it wasn't brilliant flying conditions. The parachute aerobatic team had to be cancelled but most of the scheduled flights took to the skies; the BofB Memorial flight being my favourite and most of the crowds' too, but sadly the Spitfire developed a mechanical fault and had to return to base, but the Lancaster and Hurricane in all their glory displayed beautifully and caused many lumps in many throats I'm sure, Mr T's and mine for two.

We're both feeling the effects of a long day by the sea, the onshore stiff breeze camouflaged the sun's strength so we're feeling pretty sun/wind burnt/blown. It's been a great day though. Mr T in his element, of course!
