The Back of the Hibiscus

Some images just shout at me to do them in B&W and this is one of them.  This was taken in our back garden with the Lensbaby Velvet 85.  

We are very excited today that #4 son (our hockey boy) is coming home for a few days.  It's been a while since he has been here, although we have seen him in Las Vegas.  Things in the National Hockey League quiet down for a few weeks in August so he has taken advantage of it.  He and our very pregnant daughter-in-law took a trip to Alaska and he is flying here from Austin where he has spent the weekend with 5 of his high school buddies ( all married with children now).  We are attending a family wedding in upstate NY this coming weekend, and he has two more to attend in NYC on Sunday and Monday.  Surely 3 weddings in one weekend is a record and our daughter-in-law is in two of them so she won't be able to attend the one with us.
