B is breathing on his own finally but they are not removing the t-tube today.
B failed a negative pressure test late this evening so a tracheotomy has been recommended with hospice as the only choice if B declines.
I have a call into the ALS physician to make sure there are no other alternatives. I read about a vest that could be used with a Trilogy which might work.
I discussed with B - he needs to decide by tomorrow evening.
Each day I shatter a little more.
