Net bags the alternative to plastic

I got these last week from Lidl 2 for 69p so bought 2 sets non left this week. You use them instead of the proffered plastic bag for fruit and veg even though some supermarkets offer paper bags now they still cut back on waste. Pop them into the fridge if need be too. When they get dirty just put them in the washer. I have seen similar for sale on the internet but they are different sizes and more expensive.

Another hottie. We went shopping today early but to Aberford with the dogs first. You should have seen the A1 and A1M they were gridlocked. Cars were coming through Aberford trying to miss the traffic only to cause the same problem either way. We thought we were going to be sat in a traffic jam to get out but local knowledge comes in handy on country lanes. We got out ok.

Went shopping had to come back part of the way and it was even worse the police had closed the road to Aberford so the drivers coming off the A1M at the roundabout hoping to take a short cut had to go back on it again.

The cause i think was people leaving the Leeds Festival at Bramham and the York races plus those who were heading for the East Coast. My friend lisa went to pick up her daughter from the LF last night at 11.30pm and said the traffic at that time was manic.

I am sat in the shady garden sewing again with the dulcet tones of the neighbours kids having a screaming good time in the pool. They sound to be having loads of fun.

The girls have gone to Pontefract Castle and the video Lisa sent showed them riding hobby horses and brandishing rubber lances having a jousting tournament. Then a battle with rubber swords. Next they were off to tour the dungeons.

Have a nice day everyone
