Butterfly verbena

After a walk into town, well a hobble for hub, his knee has been giving him a lot of stick today :-(.....we treated ourselves to breakfast in the cafe, was incredibly busy!!

A quick visit to the cash machine before heading home, albeit quite slowly.

The rest of the day has been spent in the back garden.....planting up the two new borders, not quite finished yet, still more to do, but we are making progress, hopefully will be done by the end of this week, well, in respect of the planting that is. The fence, summerhouse, both inside and out, all need painting, but there's time for that later.......

We rewarded ourselves late afternoon with a bottle of prosecco, sat in the sunshine...before I went indoors to make dinner. Griddled fillet of pork, with black bean sauce, and special fried rice, was tasty.

Todays blip is one of the many butterflies that feast on the vernbena bonarensis which has self seeded all over the okace this year.....as its so pretty, Ive let it stay :-)

Looking forward to the last Poldark tonight :-)
