The Point of Balance

A surprising find in the Lincolnshire village of Corby Glen: the Willoughby Memorial Trust Art Gallery and Library, formerly the Charles Read Grammar School, built in 1673. The lovely old building hosts a different art exhibition every four weeks. It's a great venue, with excellent natural light for showing displays to their best advantage.

Mr PP and I visited today to see an exhibition Marking Time, Displacing Space by artist Graham Underhill. His art includes photography, but it was his sculptural exhibits, influenced by the two-headed Roman God Janus, looking to the future and the past, that impressed me most. Very enjoyable. And the trees and flowerbeds in the modest grounds were beautiful, too.
