Most haunted pub in Scotland

Bizarre is the only word I can use to describe the Drovers Inn on Loch Lomond.

We stopped there for a drink on our way back to Stirling.
This life size stuffed bear greets you in the reception area.
(yes that’s me with bear).

Around the room are stuffed birds and animals including a snake throttling a stoat.

This inn, built in 1705, is a popular stopping off place for people walking the West Highland Way.
In the past it has had some famous guests from Johnson and Boswell through to Rob Roy, Robert Burns and R.L.Stevenson.

And yes it is on the map for another reason too. It’s claimed to be the most haunted pub in Scotland. Quite frankly I can believe it.

It goes without saying it is very popular with tourists.
