Thank Goodness for Salvia

Granddog Leo and I sat on the patio this morning enjoying the sun and light breeze.  Fortunately the hummers were oblivious and went about their business.  I'm so glad I planted several salvia under the feeder since that will have to substitute for the nectar when we're away for a few weeks in September.  I feel guilty cutting off their supply by not refilling the feeder, but the plants have gotten quite large and should be a decent substitute.
