Gathering

We noticed House Martins arriving in the Spring.
We watched them building nests.
We were impressed when they rebuilt a nest damaged in storms.
We saw the young being fed.
We watched youngsters learning to fly and practising.
We have loved watching them in the evening, flying high above us catching insects.
Now they are gathering - this was them in the early morning sunshine.

And soon they will be gone . . .
