Brown Hawker

He was patrolling , at speed up and down the canal. Gliding one minute then speeding up with rapid wing beats, which is hugely tricky to get on camera as one minute you are panning nicely then the next going into overdrive out of frame. 

On a dog walk in the heat with dogs panting hard and on one side there was no shade at all for any of us. I got a few mating Migrant Hawkers but had to go with this as my blip.
