Apple Tree

There is a reason for this photo. It's the apple tree on my allotment with more apples than I need, as I also have two apple trees in the garden.Now I have found a home for them, as walking in one of our local parks, Platt Fields, the other day, we came across the community market garden on the site of an old bowling green. The place, and the people working on it, were an inspiration growing produce for the local community using only sustainable techniques. They were on the lookout for apples for their cider-making project, and I have been only too happy to oblige.Now I'm not so sure I should be giving up my allotment, when growing our own is more vital than ever in a post-Brexit world.
