arrived

My beautiful batik material arrived this morning, sadly too late for me to make a skirt to go to Nicola’s wedding on Friday but no matter because I will make it up later. Instead I have made a skirt and top earlier this week that have been completely ‘free’. The skirt was made out of some geometric fabric that I bought more than 20 years ago, and I made the top out of some lovely turquoise, blue and black stripey material that I actually inherited from my lovely auntie Laurie - it must be at least 40 years old. I thought of her as I cut it out - she would have been so pleased that it was being used.
Not really very wild but the colours are bright...
