Pride

50 years on from the stonewall riots, Pride month still maintains pressure on governments to accept that LGBTQ people should be treated equally. Homosexual practice is a capital offence in 10 countries. It is still a criminal offence in 72 countries. WHO designated homosexuality as a disorder in my lifetime. It was only decriminalised in N Ireland in 1982.
Rights are not given, earned or bought. We are born rights bearers. Together we can make a difference.
