What kind of world?

Sue and I had lunch with her sister Peg and then went for ice cream, escaping the heat (95F/34C). All three of us spend time taking care of our grandchildren, so of course there was that to talk about, which always leads to our concern for their generation in the face of climate emergency. One of our friends has a son who is currently in France, demonstrating against the G7. The video linked above ends with a grandmother asking, “What world are we leaving them?” Grandmothers all over the planet are asking that question. Locally we’ve started preparations for the International Climate Strike on September 20 and for a week of protests following that day.
