2019 Saturday — Welcome Day

“Welcome Day” has become an annual tradition at the college. This year it was well attended and a successful event.

Parents get to come with their kids for a little taste of what their (almost adult) child will experience. The bookstore, the library, the financial aid office are all open and dozen of booths that represent campus clubs and some local businesses are present.

It was a warm summer day and that was not pleasant and it was the sixth day in a row that I had been at the college and that was beginning to wear me down. Classes begin Monday. I teach on Tuesdays and Thursdays and have Writing Lab duty on Wednesday.
