This morning I had to go to Chirk so went for a walk there which included going along Telford's Aqueduct then underneath it. There were a few narrowboats around but many less now that the school holidays are almost at an end.
Workmen are laying a path underneath the arches which will make it much easier to walk there as it can be a sea of mud after rain.
There were a couple of men working on scaffolding on the Viaduct which is next to the Aqueduct. They were having a blazing row when I passed underneath. As they were so high up I'm glad that it didn't result in fisticuffs!
