Where the Light Gets In

Guy: a profile

life lived but then lost
to a stroke - the mind remains
and memories hurt

Guy loved the exhibition we visited at Galerie L'Imagerie in Lannion. He exhibited a few abstracts there himself, some forty years ago.

He can be a bitter man at times, and harsh with nurses and orderlies, but nobody really resents him for it. Well, almost nobody.

His right side has been paralysed by a stroke and he cannot push the release button on a camera anymore - he rather despairs about it, but then I talked to him about modern cameras that can be operated via a phone, and therefore with any hand, and that seemed to brighten his day a little.
