Loch Coruisk

Today’s mission was to rehang the JMW Turner print ‘Loch Coruisk’

The watercolour was painted in1831 from sketches made by Turner from the top of Squrr na Stri looking into the heart of the Black Cuillin

Turner’s was in the Highlands to prepare illustrations for a new edition of Sir Walter Scott’s ‘The Lord of the Isles’
