Sundew - carnivorous/insectivorous plant

The sticky buds on the hairy leaves catch flies which are slowly absorbed.  The Latin name (for Ceridwen) is Drosera capensis (red leaves.)It mat not be sundew but I can't find another local name.  My plant has already had three flower spikes and there are many more to come - it opens one flower for a day every two days.
