Friday: Salmon And Bannock

We met up with H and J tonight for the latest in our alphabetical eating challenge. It was our turn to come up with tonight’s and we went to ‘Salmon and Bannock, for..........indigenous! We thought that was pretty ingenious. I had herring roe on kelp, followed by a small portion of sealion and then a main course of bison stew.

It was actually a timely coincidence in terms of finding this restaurant. It was recommended recently by a visiting friend, Simon, who is a travel writer/photographer who recently did a feature on indigenous cuisine.

So far we have had:
Afghan
Burmese
Chindian
Dutch
English
French
Greek
Hong Kong(ish?)
Indigenous
