Beautiful unwelcome ‘guest’

This box tree moth (Cydalima perspectalis, had to look that up) is now a resident in a our garden.

Its larvae have been eating our buxus colchica alive and we will probably replace them (the plants that is) with ligustrum at the end of this season.

It’s a beauty though.
