It wasn’t a good day but after a multitude of interruptions and annoyances I stole 45 minutes peace & quiet hidden in the garden, during which time I picked blueberries and French beans, nearby the urn water feature which doubles as a bath and drinking station. The garden birds love it.

The blue tit I know, but it’s companion is not a regular visitor. I wondered if it might be a linnet but it’s beak is too long for a bird of the finch family. Now I think it might be a female redstart. Help welcome please as although blipping for Friday, I’m now away, without my books.
