War Remnants Museum , Saigon

We walked out of this museum and just couldn't find the words to describe our feelings and disgust in the way this war was conducted and the inhumane torture that took place disguised as interrogation. After a while one of the Americans in our group said don't let's talk about the war anymore.

There are literally thousands of picture taken by a who's who of war photographers in this must see exhibition . So why this one? I suppose this was one of the few portraits and it shows the effect of the notorious Agent Orange , used to defoliate, on the innocent and the unborn. Sadly it is still a problem today and the US government are contributing $50 million but $300million is required.

Tomorrow I will try to find a more upbeat subject. It shouldn't be difficult. The Vietnamese seem to to be a happy people.
